It didn’t start with science. It started with a battle, one fought in the mirror, every single day.
My journey into nutritional therapy began not in a classroom, but in the quiet frustration of dealing with adult acne that wouldn’t go away. I tried everything, high-end skincare, harsh treatments, prescription pills, even oral contraceptives. Each promised transformation. None delivered healing. Instead, I found myself trapped in a cycle of temporary fixes, synthetic ingredients, and rising self-doubt.
My skin didn’t just hurt, it spoke. And I finally started listening.
That moment was a turning point. I stopped chasing surface-level solutions and started asking deeper questions:
What if the issue wasn’t on my skin at all? What if it was coming from within?
Through relentless trial, research, and eventually formal study, I discovered that skin is a messenger reflecting the health of the gut, the burden of stress, and the quality of our daily choices. As I healed, not only did my skin clear, but other chronic issues like PMS began to fade too. That’s when I truly understood:
Food is medicine. And the body is always working to heal if we give it the chance.
I went on to train as a nutritional therapist and now continue to deepen my knowledge through naturopathy; drawn to the body’s innate intelligence and its ability to restore balance when properly supported.
Today, my passion is helping others reclaim their health from the inside out, particularly in the areas of gut health, skin conditions, hormonal balance, stress resilience, and sustainable weight loss. This mission gave rise to Toasana, a name that embodies gentle strength, inner harmony, and the courage to live well.
My work isn’t about rigid diets or quick fixes. It’s about guiding you back to your body’s wisdom, lightening the burden of imbalance, and creating a life that feels clearer, calmer, and more deeply nourished from the inside out.
